Swiss Alps Expedition: 3 Day Alpine Ascent
Join Sol Brah and other Sol expeditioneers on a Swiss Alpine hiking expedition. Over three nights, we will traverse the mountains to see incredible natural views, swim in glacial streams, relax in a mountain mineral spa, eat delicious healthy meals, participate in focused health lectures, stay in mountain cabins, all the while learning the Sol lifestyle and expanding your mind body and soul.
Here is our planned itinerary for the 3-day / 3 night Expedition Style Swiss Alpine route.
The important bits:
Dates: 22-25 August
Departing: Zurich (Main Station) 3:00pm
Returning: Zurich (Airport & Main Station) 12:00pm
Location: Swiss Alps (Alpine region)
Cost: $3,300 pp including Accommodation (2 nights in High Alpine hut, one night in top secret location), Food, Transport, Mountaineering Gear.
Mountaineering experience is a plus, however not necessary as we will go through the relevant training as and when needed.
Day 1 (Thursday) : Meeting/Equipment check/Drive to Lodge close to Trailhead
3:00 pm Meet guide and group at Zurich Main Station. Please be punctual. We will conduct a thorough gear check and distribute group gear to each participant (extra 10lbs). DEPARTURE - Drive to Trailhead for hike to Alpine Lodge.
6:00-7:00 pm arrival to Lodge, expedition briefing & traditional Swiss dinner.
10:00 pm turn in for the night.
Day 2 (Friday) : Mountaineering training / Ascent to Swiss Summit
6:00 am Wake up, breakfast
7:30 am DEPARTURE from Lodge and commence hike to a famous Swiss mountain peak.
1:00 pm Cold plunge in glacier river enroute, packed lunch.
4:00 pm Arriving back at Alpine Hotel.
Day 3 (Saturday) : Mountaineering / Trek to Mineral Spa
6:00 am Wake up, breakfast
8:30 am DEPARTURE from Lodge.
8:30 am Commence hike over an Alpine pass
11:00 am Mountain hut lunch enroute.
3:00 pm Mineral Spa soak.
7:00 pm Arrival at top secret location, tour, turn in for the night.
Day 4 (Sunday) : Exfiltration / return to civilization
8:00 am Breakfast and departures back to Zurich
We will return to Zurich between 11am at the earliest and 2pm at the latest. Please don’t aim for flight departures before 5pm on Sunday.
